Our quest to make beard care products started off with a goal to make the best beard oil possible using the finest ingredients in both their properties and their quality. In the beginning it started off as a hobby and the cost of the ingredients did not get factored into the final result we were looking for. What we wanted from our oil was very simple, it had to be nourishing, moisturizing, softening, and if possible, reparative, in order to promote better and thicker growth. Once our research and our blend translated into a consumer product, we doubled our effort to insure our ingredients were 100% natural and procured in such a way that retains their benefits while using a manufacturing process that does not introduce foreign agents into the ingredients.
We meticulously studied and tested the benefits and affects of countless carrier oils and butters before we settled on our final blends. Yes, our proprietary blend of carrier oils contains a dozen varieties and our butters and balms are comprised of these oils along with a variety of four amazing butters. This wasn't an easy task. Each ingredient was ultimately decided on based on one main criteria - that it promotes the health of beard hair and the skin underneath it.
The ingredients in our blend are cold pressed and sourced from highly reputable suppliers with proven track records of delivering quality and responsible ingredients (CoA's are available upon request). Some of these ingredients contain benefits that are quite similar to one another, but different enough to provide added benefits and synergies with their inclusion. By volume, each ingredient listed below, regardless of its place on the ingredients list, holds a significant percentage of our total blends. Their placement on the list was determined by benefit and scent... not cost.
Below are the selection of ingredients found in American Dude Co. Beard Oils, Beard Balms, and Beard Butters. We've added a brief description of benefits for each ingredient. Our goal was to make the best product possible, and we believe we have. We think that you will agree with us once you use them too!
