Our basic Beard Balm is a medium hold balm that is designed to contain fly-aways and can optionally work as your nourishing treatment due to its modest beeswax content. We always like to take the modest approach, so when we describe our Beard Butter, we just say that it is amazing, we don't say stuff like "this is the best thing since sliced bread" or "you'll never experience anything as exhilarating as our beard butter", etc.

The ingredients in our products have been selected without compromise... the aim was quite simple; find the absolute best ingredients for our beards. Our beard oil blend, which we use as the base for our butters and balms, contains a dozen carrier oils. We spent countless hours experimenting with a large variety of oils before we finally were confident that our blend is perfect.

You will find a few of the common oils in our blend that are used widely throughout the beard care industry because they are undeniably great. Within our blend however, you will find carrier oils that you may have never heard of. These ingredients are more luxurious, more difficult to obtain, and frankly much more expensive… but their benefits are unequivocally exceptional for our beards.

We gave the same treatment to the natural butters found in our beard balms and beard butters until we ultimately landed on the four in our blend. In the end, we are confident that you will love what our products do for your beard.

Our scents are made using high quality essential oils and paraben-free and phthalate-free fragrance oils.

Our products are categorized by our label color as follows:

Black Label - scents created using strictly essential oils.

White Label - scents created using a combination of essential oils and fragrance oils.

Grey Label - this is our unscented variety.

All of our products use our amazing blend of carrier oils, and our balms and butters also include our kick ass blend of butters. That is to say; no matter which product you enjoy, you will be getting the full benefits that American Dude Company beard products provide.
